Ingredients

(2-3 cups)

50g echinacea, dried

2 tsp mint, dried

1 tsp ginger powder

Method

  1. Mix the ingredients and add 500ml of boiling water
  2. Allow the mixture to steep for about 15-20 minutes
  3. Drink 1 cup a day

Benefits

Echinacea is one of the most potent immunostimulant plants used by Chinese medicine. It can also help against allergies and autoimmune diseases. It’s mainly beneficial against conditions involving the respiratory tract, including colds, the flu, lung infections, sinus, and sore throat. Echinacea is recommended for short-term use (3-4 days) and should be incorporated as soon as the symptoms kick in. Mint and ginger in the tea boost the action of Echinacea, plus they act as potent anti-inflammatory and are also good for digestion.
