Eggs contain all the essential amino acids (the building blocks of protein) that are necessary to sustain the structure and health of our muscles, including the muscular walls of the reproductive system. Egg yolk is a must for female hormonal health because of its richness in minerals, such as zinc, iron, and other important vitamins that nourish our ovaries.

Sweet potatoes are rich in potassium which plays a crucial role in regulating fluids inside the body. Hormonal imbalances often cause water retention and bloating, this mineral helps re-balancing the water inside the body aiding with the elimination of excess fluids. Sweet potatoes are also packed with vitamin A, an important anti-oxidant. Think that one medium-sized potato contains 690% of the daily recommended value!

Beets are rich in minerals, such as iron, calcium, and potassium. This veggie helps with detoxification processes and it helps strengthen weak capillaries having beneficial effects on blood circulation due to its richness in anthocyanins (the characteristic purple-red pigments). Beets are also rich in betalain, which has potent antioxidant properties and protects the body from free radicals.

Avocados owe their popularity to being one of the healthiest fats on Earth. Indeed, it’s an excellent source of monounsaturated fat (the good one) which nourish the ovaries and our hormones. Avocado is also a true and real anti-aging fruit due to its richness in Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Glutathione, and lutein, all indispensable for skin health and glow. Finally, it is rich in potassium (more than a banana!), an essential mineral for bodily fluid balance and muscle relaxation. Thus, it helps eliminate water retention and promotes ovary muscle relaxation.
